California Dem’s Fiery COVID Messages To Vet Open Floodgates Of Complaints

Rep. Katie Porter (D.Calif.), is being criticized for how she treated a veteran and ex-employee in July. When she was caught COVID-19, she was accused of violating office protocols.

On Thursday, the Dear White Staffers Twitter account posted screen shots of text messages between Porter and Sasha Georgiades (her former Wounded Warrior Program colleague).

According to the post, the text messages were sent “with consent” by staff members who shared them. It also describes a conversation between Porter and Georgiades, as well as the COVID-19 protocol.

Georgiades was Porter’s assistant for 2 years. He resigned in August.

Porter’s office stated that Georgiades was not fired by the company for catching COVID-19.

According to the spokesperson, Porter informed Porter that she was working remotely during the remaining three weeks. After receiving negative results, she only attended in-person meetings. ”

Fox News Digital reported Thursday that Georgiades stated that Porter fired her because she couldn’t fire Porter.

A Navy veteran stated, “I believe she would have been able to have that protection for the wounded warrior programs she had.”

Georgiades said that Porter’s experience in her situation is not uncommon.

Georgiades said that she made many staff members weep and that staff are anxious to work with her because she can flip out on anyone present if something goes wrong. “She talks to staffers whenever she wants.

A former Porter staffer claimed that the Congresswoman’s office would “overburden” staffers with work so they either can’t handle it all, or are fired. This was “shortly after my arrival there with another staffer. ”

Georgiades said that the staffer was upset, hurt and that he was a staff associate in his office. This is an entry-level position that is paid for congressional offices.

Reason was told by Georgiades that it was inappropriate to immediately test after feeling sick.

She stated that she felt fine, but that she was tired from working too hard. I went to the doctor and took a test. I then told the district director that it was because I was sick. I decided to stay home.

Reason was also informed that Georgiades had told Reason that the congresswoman became incommunicado following her departure.

According to published text, Porter asked Georgiades why Georgiades didn’t follow the office protocol regarding COVID-19 testing on Jul 8. It was “really disappointing,” she said.

Porter wrote July 9: “Sasha, I cannot allow you return to the office because of your failures to comply with office policies. “Cody will reach out to you regarding shipping or delivering personal items to your home. He will also outline your remote work schedule over the next few weeks.

Porter responded to Georgiades with the following: “Well, you gave me Covid.” Porter replied, “Well, I gave you Covid. It took me 25 years to get sick. You didn’t follow these rules.”

California Congresswoman Georgiades claimed that her children were neglected by their family. Georgiades was informed that she was due to be in Washington at that time.

Porter’s past text messages have been controversial. She slams Irvine Mayor Farrah Khan, for her disgusting remarks about Irvine police officers after they were smashed at last year’s violent community meeting.

Porter criticized Khan in the texts. After Julian Willis’ arrest, she said that she would not call Khan. Willis is accused of punching a Trump supporter and giving him a bloody nose.
