The memorial service for former First Lady Rosalynn Carter was held on Tuesday, and instead of acknowledging her legacy, some on the left decided to search desperately for something to get angry at. Enter Melania Trump, who once again became a target for their hatred over her choice of dress at the event.
Some leftists took to X (formerly Twitter) to complain about Melania wearing a black and speckled jacket on top of her black dress to the event. They claimed it was disrespectful.
She decided NOT to wear her “I really don’t care” jacket, but it still feels like she’s wearing one.

Melania’s choice of fashion is as genuine as meat made from plants. It’s a fact that Melania Trump is married to Donald Trump and therefore cannot be forgiven. So, people are forced to find a way to act like they are upset with her.
How can we tell if the outrage is fake or not? It’s being spread by left-wing hacks on social media, so that’s a good start. There was also another former First Lady who didn’t wear black to another memorial service. It’s true, that Hillary Clinton wore the same color coat to former First Lady Barbara Bush’s memorial service.

It’s not the first instance that the left has lost their collective minds over Melania Trump’s fashion choices. In 2018, Melania wore a green jacket with the words “I don’t really care” on it as she boarded a plane to visit immigrant detained children in Texas. Do You?”
It was a big news story because elite media are rotten garbage. Melania acknowledged later that the jacket was meant to be a message for the media:
She said, “It is obvious that I did not wear the jacket because of the children. I wore it to get on and off the airplane.”
“It is not just the media that criticizes me, but also the people.” I just want to let them know that I don’t give a damn. You can criticize anything you like. “But it won’t stop me from doing what I feel to be right.”
Mrs. Trump criticized the media for being “obsessed with” her clothing.
She said: “I often ask myself, if I had not worn this jacket, would I have received so much media attention?” She added, “I’d prefer that they focus on what I do and my initiatives rather than what I wear.”
Melania’s fashion choices are not a priority for most people. This episode proves that for leftist influencers anything related to Orange Man What Is Bad will be triggering.
